VJ6 - Cabinet with slide-out shelf
The VJ6 cabinet introduces a compact, low cost solution for fiber optic cable termination. The VJ6 series is ideal for rack-mounting in confined areas such as equipment enclosures where rack space is limited. The cabinet is delivered unequipped. Slide-out shelf allows easy access to the splicing area for optical network reconfiguration during operation and prevents damage to fibers prior to routing into adapters. On the pin you can place up to 4 splicing cassettes. Maximal fiber capacity depends on number of optical adaptors (24 or 48 fibers). The VJ6 cabinet is produced from Aluminium alloy 5754 material. ECE3 ETSI Splice & Termination Cabinet
The ECE3 is series designed for 300 mm depth ETSI racks. It provides splicing and termination within one convenient housing unit. The ECE3 terminates up to 144 fibers in a 7SU (ETSI height) distribution frame. This unit contains angled panel for mounting various optical adaptors (SC, LC, E2000, ...). It allows decreasing the depth of cabinet. The swing-out shelf enables unrestricted front, rear and top access to the splicing area and termination panels.
ETSI philosophy is completely different. It is based on metrical system. Height of SU (System Unit) is 25 mm. This type cannot be used in common 19” racks.
