These ruggedized optical components were designed and implemented for use in NATO armed forces in response to the demand for an interconnected system that can successfully group terminations in a harsh environment. The components have successfully passed military testing and supplier approval for both NATO (Supplier code: 1583G) and non-NATO nations. These innovative devices are used for mobile command installation with field LANs to ensure data communications at remote observer stations, for LAN field installations in crisis situations, and for installation headquarters for expeditionary troops. The devices fully comply with STANAG 4290 requirements and all military standards for components used in harsh environmental conditions. In addition to proving unique and unassailable properties within European deployment, OPTOKON military tactical components have also demonstrated their full operational range in desert applications in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Singapore. OPTOKON ruggedized fiber optic components can also be found fully deployed within heavy industry and petrochemical, mining, and broadcasting optical networks.

OPTOKON is a major leader in the new professional section of the Defence Industry Association “C4/digitization of the battlefield”. The C4/digitization of the battlefield along with tactical systems covers the entire command and control section at a tactical level and these specialized sections are worthy of a professional partner in the modernization of the activities of the Army of the Czech Republic. Cisco STI Partnership

The ICT Division development has strengthened its capabilities in the area of operational and cybersecurity and for stationary – fixed and mobile – operational networks. As cyber defense and security are key capabilities of the military and the public safety and security segment, the division required a product portfolio to reflect this. In 2019, the division took a major step toward this with the Cisco Solution Technology Integrator partnership acquisition, which allows OPTOKON to promote and to sell our ruggedized Cisco-based products into the global Cisco community.

In May 2020, OPTOKON signed a Solution Technology Integrator Agreement meaning that the company is entitled to 'design in' Cisco products and software into OPTOKON solutions. OPTOKON was the first Cisco partner in the Czech Republic.

The LMSW-42 is a low cost ruggedized field switch with 2 fiber optic ports and 4 RJ-45 ports.  High Power PoE ruggedized switch is specifically designed to meet IEEE 802.3af/at standards for powering network devices with up to 30 W output per PoE port. With PoE function, it becomes simplified to install network devices such as IP phones, IP surveillance cameras, wireless access points, and other PoE enabled devices in outdoor or remote areas where are hard-to-reach power source.

The LMUPS-80 Series is a high efficiency, DC power supply and battery charger that brings sophisticated features into a ruggedized design. LMSB - 14.1G Ruggedized Switchboard - extension gateway

The LMSB-14.1G introduces a switchboard, it might be used as analog VoIP gateway, VoIP (ISDN) PBX or voice & data router. The ruggedized design allows the use in harsh environmental conditions. It offers FXS ports for analogue phone sets, FXO ports for connection to PBX lines, E&M interfaces for cooperation with radio systems and E1 digital line. The LMSB-14.1G gateway can be connected to tactical network via 100 Mbps Ethernet line or via up-link port based on optical fibers cable, which is equipped with HMA Expanded Beam connector.  Four channels GSM module available on request. Power supplying of LMSB-14.1G can be ensured from any DC source 10.5 – 36 V. The LMSB-14.1 switchboard can be mounted into vehicle as well as deployed on stationary workstation.

FOTAS SF-10 - Single Channel Perimeter Security

FOTAS SF-10 is an acoustic sensor based on fiber optic infrastructure and It can be easily distributed in variant terrains. SF-10 keeps your perimeter and borders safe and sends you early threat warnings. 
Laser beams sent by the laser source traveling the entire system. Providing information while flowing through the fiber optic cable. When laser beams come back to the FOTAS, a computer software analyse them. Noises and unrelated data eliminated through the software. Finally FOTAS AI classifies the alarms. 
Actions that create vibration can be watched live on the system. Noisy areas can be isolated and deactivated at the request of user. All alarms received and reported over the web interface. They are stored and can be exported. 
It is one of the proven early warning security system. FOTAS detects third-party intervention, illegal crossing attempts and unauthorized excavations along a line spanning several kilometres to thousands of kilometres.
